In the heart of Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains, Zemya — a natural wine bar in a treehouse — emerged as a unique culinary experience, blending nature, sustainability, and community. Set against the backdrop of the Meadows in the Mountains music festival, we created a cozy, candlelit hideaway — an oasis where food, natural wine, and the spirit of the mountains came together.

Zemya was more than just a dining space — it felt like a secret retreat. Nestled among the trees, it offered a warm, intimate atmosphere, where time seemed to slow down.

Our menu, filled with organic, locally sourced ingredients and wild-foraged herbs, was perfectly complemented by a curated selection of natural Bulgarian wines. Guests came for a meal and a glass of wine, but stayed for the experience — a chance to escape, connect, and savor the magic of the moment.

With over 4,000 festival-goers, Zemya quickly became the heart of the festival. Despite the challenges of a remote location and unpredictable weather, our team transformed an old shack into a glowing treehouse in just 48 hours.

This project proved that with creativity, passion, and the right collaboration, unforgettable experiences can be created anywhere — even in the wildest environments.
